Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) is a smooth, worsted-spun and plied yarn. It has a lovely sheen and great bounce. BFL is a strong wool that is still next to the skin soft making it ideal for a wide range of projects such as hats, mittens, jumpers, sock and shawls. It gives excellent stitch definition so works wells for patterns using a variety of stitch patterns (stocking, textured, brioche and cables). It wears well and pills very little.
